We kicked off September with our closest-to-home fair Vintage Vogue in Brentwood. A dance floor was added to the event, what a treat! We would love to be able to dance but our clumsiness holds us back so we just watch in awe. However, we did get in on the glamour by getting our hair styled at Hair Aid. Shelter for the bargain price of £10. Vintage hairstyles are surprisingly addictive.

We were positioned next to the lovely Sew Swell. This time they were offering beautiful hand-made cards created using Sian’s kitsch hand-drawn artwork & a cute selection of retro clothing. It wouldn’t be Vintage Vogue without a trip to our beloved playsuit stall, Beach Bygones!

We paid a visit to Michele's knitted sweater stall. Michele was wearing one of her designs, an adorable sailor style sweater. We need not fear our winter wardrobes anymore! We also saw friends Fiona & Joe of Togged to the Bricks, with lots of 50s dresses increasing their tempting selection & ROSIE LEE CLOTHING, with her new range of couture vintage-inspired hats. This time around, we also managed to pop into the tea rooms for some homemade cake. Yum!

We are privileged that SEW SWELL & ROSIE LEE CLOTHING will be joining us for our Craft & Vintage Fair in November.

For the second week of September, we joined Jenny’s Hertfordshire Vintage Fairs for the debut Berkhamsted fair. With the cold weather (sadly) hot on our heels, it’s time to start seriously thinking about the dreaded winter wardrobe. When you don’t want to follow the high street’s rather miserable hues, you can always turn to vintage fairs for experts ready to brighten up wardrobe blues.

Blondie Retro Clothing Boutique, known for their rather sparkly offer, were offering sequin embellished jumpers for £35. Fliss grabbed a super sparkly sequin harlequin jumper dress. Togged to the Bricks had a lovely selection of transitional 50s check dresses in autumnal tones. Rag & Bow were all about the season must have-vintage capes.

Mildew cards were offering not only their great range of greeting cards, but also boxes of photograph & decoupage treasure which we cooed over. Walking away with a good handful, we have Claire to thank for our Now, Voyager Craft & Vintage Fair mascot - The Spagetti Queen of 1958!

We also popped up at Turweston Wings & Wheels Show for Judy’s Affordable Vintage Fair, where they show-cased vintage cars & planes in unison.
